These are the beauty essentials you should always have in your hand luggage:

  1. Pure Coconut Oil, ( Coco Loco Coconut Oil 300ml, Aldi, £2.49).
  2. Pure Aloe Vera Gel, ( Aloe Vera Gel 200ml, Holland & Barrett, £7.49).
  3. Rose Water, ( Rosewater Balancing Mist 50ml, Jurlique, £18).

The key to looking fresh and awake after a long-haul flight is hydration!

Always use a good facial mask 2-3 times a week to help keep your skin in really good condition.

Also use rose water when flying, which can be taken in a refillable spray container and use it throughout the flight. It’s refreshing and keeps your skin hydrated, even when you’re wearing makeup.

Drink as much water or green tea as you can throughout the flight. Green tea has caffeine to give you a boost without dehydrating you like coffee does.

Keep your make up in place on flight by investing in a good primer

Always prep your skin well before wearing makeup, as this ensures that your make up stays looking fresh whilst travelling, having a good cleanse, tone and moisturising routine is a must.

What are your top tips for getting the ‘Dubai’ look?

First and foremost, you need well-groomed eyebrows to get the Dubai look. They look great if you get them threaded, or if you have light or thin eyebrows you can get them tinted or coloured with henna.

Eyeliner is also a trademark style in Dubai and really accentuates the eyes – using liquid liner on the upper lid to be bold and make a statement.

Popular lip colours in Dubai are nudes, corals and pinks, and lots of women choose a matte lipstick look.
